Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DropRadar ("DropRadar", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you access the DropRadar website, newsletter, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

Important: DropRadar does not request wallet signatures, seed phrases, or private keys, and will never ask you to send funds. If any party claims otherwise while using our name, it is fraudulent.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

  • Email address — collected when you complete the on-page challenge and opt in to receive our airdrop briefings.
  • Survey responses — non-identifying answers to the 5 multiple-choice questions used to personalize your briefing.
  • Optional wallet address — only if you voluntarily submit one for eligibility checks; never a signature or private key.
  • Communications — content of any email you send to us for support.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (country / region level).
  • Pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps.
  • Anonymized event data (e.g., "started challenge", "completed step 3").

1.3 Cookies and similar technologies

We use first-party cookies and browser storage (localStorage) to remember your progress through the interactive challenge and to measure aggregate performance. We may use privacy-friendly analytics providers (such as Plausible, Fathom, or Google Analytics 4 configured with IP anonymization). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may degrade parts of the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver the personalized airdrop briefing you requested by email.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To measure engagement and campaign performance in aggregate.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Legal Bases (EEA / UK Users)

Where GDPR / UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for marketing emails and non-essential cookies.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and improve the Service and prevent fraud.
  • Legal obligation — where required to comply with applicable law.

4. How We Share Information

We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers — email delivery (e.g., Postmark, Resend), hosting (e.g., Cloudflare, Vercel), analytics, and error monitoring, each bound by data-processing agreements.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DropRadar, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.

We do not share your data with advertising networks for cross-site behavioral advertising.

5. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States, the European Union, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms to protect data transferred outside your country of residence.

6. Data Retention

  • Email address and survey responses: retained while your subscription is active plus up to 24 months of inactivity.
  • Anonymized analytics: retained for up to 26 months.
  • Support communications: retained for up to 3 years.

You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting the credentials you use to access the Service.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, update, or delete your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
  • Data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, email privacy@dropradar.io. We will respond within 30 days (or the period required by applicable law). You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the footer of every message.

9. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, delete your information, opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither), limit the use of sensitive personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. Submit requests to privacy@dropradar.io.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party protocols, exchanges, or websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies before submitting any information.

12. Do Not Track

Our Service does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We treat all users consistently in accordance with this Policy.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by additional notice (such as an email or an on-page banner). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
